2001 BMW 316 TI SE COMPACT 1.8 MANUAL CURRENTLY HAS 118K WILL GO UP IN DAILY USE MOT TIL JULY 2014 & TAX TIL SEPTEMBER 2014 Mechanically the car is in excellent condition runs and drives as it should without any problems what-so-ever, i welcome any tests or inspections (with proof of insurance). The car drives perfect sounds perfect with no mechanical faults. Exterior again for age is in excellent condition with no major dings, scratches or marks when its cleaned the colour stands out and along with the alloys which are the uprated m wheels again for age in excellent condition with no major kurbing or scrathches just clean and they look great. All four tyres have excellent tred on them and in great condition, also the brakes have plenty of life left in them to. Interior is in great condition all round with the one blemish being minor tear on drivers side seat nothing to major. All the seats work as they should all the functions working seats moving properly in every poistions the leg extensions working & the first aid kit in intact condition. The cd changer tape player, air con heating all work perfect as they should as does all dials and displays. As for service history i have the book with 4 stamps in it at 8,402 miles, 12,713 miles,20,132 miles and 75,454 miles all bmw servicing. It had inlet cam, all 4 colis and new timing chain guide and tensioners replaced in 2008 springs done in 2007 have the service books recipts old Mots etc. The car has only one fault the locking system a few weeks the key wouldn't open the door i tried putting key in the door to unlock but still didnt work. The key is the right key for the door just the mechanism is jammed and the AA tested the key to see if it was the key which was at fault but they did signal test the key is fine. I did some digging around it needs a g5 unit replacing which you can get on Greatbritainlisted from £25 to £45 and its located under glove box. If i have time i will try and get the mechanism checked so it can be closed with the key. Looking to sell or swap £1,400 ono for more info call 0
